Strong mental exhaustion is an incurable mental ailment that can afflict your explorer in RIVALS mode. This always happens 92 days after you gain the Medium Mental Exhaustion ailment, which it will replace.
It will permanently reduce your maximum Sanity by 25 and triple the base Sanity cost of travel. In addition, all your humanoid companions will gain the Faithless ailment if they don't have it already.
However, your current Sanity will be fully replenished at the moment when you gain this ailment.
