Gameplay[]
Richard Francis Burton is a challenging explorer with several stats flaws. His British Soldier companion is combat-oriented, but Richard lacks any weapon, and the party lacks blue dice for effective combos.
His perk supports an outlaw strategy in that it bypasses Standing requirements for resting in villages. In addition, his Native Scout eases quick map exploration and opens opportunity for use of the shovels for buried treasure.

Sir Richard Francis Burton, KCMG FRGS (19 March 1821 – 20 October 1890) was a British explorer, geographer, translator, writer, soldier, orientalist, cartographer, ethnologist, spy, linguist, poet, fencer, and diplomat. He was known for his travel/exploration in Asia, Africa and the Americas, as well as his extraordinary knowledge of languages and cultures. Some claimed he spoke 29 languages.
