Luis is an animal companion that can only be acquired by recruiting his master, Tim Timster. Luis possesses the Extra Character perk, which means he does not take up a character slot in the group.

Tips[]
- As with all animals, Luis can only be promoted with the explorer Alexandra David-Neel.
- Luis is one of the few animals whose combat dice can combine with others.
- Tim Timster and Luis can be dismissed separately, meaning the player may remove one and still keep the other in the party.
- When resting overnight in a village or the open, the player may be asked to slaughter Luis for food. Villagers don't lose standing if you decline, but companions requesting it will lose loyalty unless another animal is offered.
- If Luis is lost or killed and Tim Timster remains in the group, he'll periodically lose loyalty as he grieves and continues to mourn the loss of his beloved dog.
