Jörg S. Friedrich is a unique secret explorer. He shares the same perk and dice as explorer Mary Kingsley and secret explorer Freiherr von Gehlsdorf, but has a unique set of companions including a pug, which is otherwise unique to secret explorer Alfred Nobel, and a Mountain Trooper, who is not found in any other starting party. He has the same set of starting items as Freiherr von Gehlsdorf, including a full stack of marbles. His official in-game title is Politician.
