Curious Expedition features a very wide variety of items - some are tools necessary for the player's expedition to succeed; others bring fame or fortune; still others represent the magnificent, strange, magical and grotesque items a traveler might find in far-off, unexplored lands.

Many items can be useful in several ways; thus, they may appear in more than one category.

Trophies & Treasures[]

Items whose main purpose is to be returned to England and either donated to the Museum for Fame or auctioned for more Funds.

Cultural Artifacts[]

May be found for barter in villages, found as buried treasure, or looted from tombs or shrines.

Hunting Trophies[]

Taken from dead animals or found at a few locations. While valuable to sell back at London, traders around the world value them more than their Funds, so it is usually a good idea to sell to traders for essential good before selling back home.

All paintings of different values still stack and act as a single item during trading.

Weapons add an extra die to combat. Many explorers begin the game with a weapon. These are also sometimes available for purchase at harbor in London, or at specific traders.
