An Injury is a physical ailment that effects both explorers and companions who are at less than max Health for any reason, such as from Combat, fire, poison gas, or certain bad events.

A lightly wounded character has a decent chance to shake off the injury without it becoming infected. More often, it festers into an Infected Wound after a few travel legs. It can be cured with a First Aid Kit, Red Mushroom, or by resting at a Healing Spring.
