The Desert Expert perk has a variation for explorers and companions.
The explorer version of this perk is exclusive to Freya Stark. It does not have any affect in-expedition, but instead allows Stark to always have at least one Desert option when selecting her next destination from the World Map.
The companion version enables Bedouins to reveal nearby oases locations, with increased range with each promotion. It only works in Desert worlds, and has no affect on other water-based locations like waterfalls and cenotes.
