Culinary Finesse is a companion perk carried only by Cooks. It allows a cook to turn Raw Meat into Prepared Animal Meat, which restores a certain amount of sanity when consumed.
This acts as a cook's primary perk, meaning that it can be promoted. A higher-level cook will produce more effective meat:
