A Crocodile Skin is a hunting trophy that can only be obtained by defeating a Crocodile in combat. It can be traded, or saved to exchange for Fame or Funds back in London. Traders will offer a very good price for them (Value 50).
Interestingly, Missions will trade for them at full Value despite otherwise offering less for most hunting trophies.
