Claustrophobia is an ailment that in which afflicted companions to panic when entering caves. Exploring a cave in darkness will cause them to lose loyalty, and sending a Claustrophobic companion to investigate a narrow crevice in a cave is certain doom for them.
Claustrophobia is one of the few ailments that recruits can randomly start with. It can also be obtained when travelling or resting at a Rock Overhang while at low Sanity.
Like all mental ailments, Claustrophobia may be cleansed with a Green Mushroom, cleansing at a Shaman Hut, or with the random blessing of Pure Mind from a temple.
