Christophorus Amiculus is a secret explorer who's stats are essentially an upgraded version of the explorer Ada Lovelace's character. He even starts with the same supplies (+ an extra chocolate ration). His official in-game title is Mathematician.

He is based on Cristoph Freundl, a German software developer and supporter of the game. "Amiculus" is Latin for "little friend" or "dear friend", which is roughly what his surname means in German.
