Careerist is an explorer perk that grants a 75% chance to improve the loyalty of a companion by +1 every time they are promoted. The base chance of loyalty increasing after companion promotion is 25%, meaning this perk increases the chance of added loyalty by 50%.

Opportunities to increase companions' loyalty is rare, making this a valuable perk to help increase the chance of retaining valuable party members on your team.
Loyalty boosts are never permanent, and promotions can only be applied 3 times per companion. This makes the benefits of this perk limited, especially because it still has a 25% chance of having no affect upon promotion.
