Gameplay[]
Alfred Nobel is a secret explorer who's Authoritative Leader perk is held only by him and explorer Marcus Garvey. He is also one of only two explorers who start with a pug companion (the other being Jörg S. Friedrich). His stash of Dynamite and Charisma to recruit new companions make him useful in an outlaw strategy. His in-game title is Inventor.

Alfred Bernhard Nobel (21 October 1833 – 10 December 1896) was a Swedish businessman, chemist, engineer, inventor, and philanthropist. He held 355 different patents, dynamite being the most famous. The synthetic element nobelium was named after him. His decision to posthumously donate the majority of his wealth to found the Nobel Prize has been credited at least in part to him wanting to leave behind a better legacy. Wikipedia

This secret explorer was originally based off the YouTube internet personality, PewDiePie, also known as, Felix Kjellberg. The character’s unlock code was, and still is, a nod to Felix’s year of birth, 1989. The character has since been changed to represent an otherwise different Swedish figure, Alfred Bernhard Nobel, possibly in light of Felix’s past controversies.
